I doubt it'll be an actual game.

It's called MGS3: The Naked Sample. Which makes me think it'll be less than a full game, and more like VR trainging from 1/2, because 3 never got that, other than Snake vs Monkey/ MP.

Also Kojima mentioned in the end trailer that it was an 'experiment' into what he could do.

That's what I thought, too. But those Metal Gear screenshots look original. The faces are more detailed than MGS3, and even the whole scene looks different. Not to mention Kojima was mentioning creating a jungle environment on the 3DS.
