The whole marketing strategy of 360 is that their consoles are supposed to be cheaper. Sure, they'll make less a profit on consoles, but cheaper console equals more customers, and more customers means more people to buy the games, so in the end they'll reap profit anyway. Or well, they would if it wasn't for RROD repair bills.
