If you're playing with others, Roland is beyond god-tier. He has a talent that lets him heal others with his boolets, and that makes the game just fucking easy as shit.

Cauterize with Sledge's Shotgun was overpowered beyond belief

Hunters are nice, but honestly I like Sirens in single player. However, if you do play one, disregard all her end-tier talents. They suck dicks.
The second-to-last tier talents are very nice, and you can get all three. Combine shield and health regen with extra boolet damage, and shit's easy mate.

I'm partial to Lilith, because phasewalk can get stupid powerful.

Op, it eventually boils down to whatever special skill you enjoy. The individual classes don't really offer that much in way of differences to distract from the fact that no matter what class you play, gun of type X is the best, and you will use it until you die.

I played brick and lilith up to somewhere in the 40's. Brick was fun to play cause of his punching people talent. Played it angain with lilith and it was way easier. Her rediculous DOT damage is rediculous. Ive seen hunter do huge damage. Brick and Roland can't touch Lilith and hunter's damage.

Hunter is ALL BOW BEFORE OUR MIGHTY GOD tier during the first playthrough, particularly after you manage to get Bird of Prey at lvl 2 and got some skill to reduce the cooldown.

bloodwing is just too powerful in playthrough 1.

It goes more to support role in playthrough 2, though. Auto-dazing everything and healing you. Works.

Get Shock Wing lvl 6 and max out your Bloodwing damage, and you'll oneshot pretty much everything outside of Secret Armory.

Also, with Secret Armory bumping the level cap to 61, characters can specialize in more than one skill tree.

Not really. Swipe gives me all the medkits, ammo, and money I could ask for, and with the right kind of gun, you can do 9000+ damage with a melee attack thanks to Lethal Strike.

I piss my friend off when playing Borderlands by not bringing one of every mod for my character and like 20 guns around with me wherever I go like he does.
