05/23/10(Sun)14:45 No.60112XXX>I imagine that the initial "Act", as it were, might
be a bit less to your liking than the first ones in the original Dead
Space. Unlike the Ishimura, Isaac will BE THERE for the outbreak aboard
The Sprawl. This is a station of ONE MILLION people, several hundred
times the population of the Aegis 7 Colony and Ishimura combined.
No,
I'm cool with all that, in fact it excites me. It would be cool to see
how it goes down. But even then, it does not mean that they cannot have
the same kinda atmosphere of dread.
The Ishimura was not exactly a
little ship with a tiny crew either, and shit is still going down while
Issac and his team get there and try to fix shit, we just kinda miss
most of em. Example, med lab has obviously had activity in it between
the first and second times you go there, and its not just Mercer running
around.
You can hear the trams moving in the tunnels after the
team turns em back on, and I think Issac is just a few hours behind the
brave engineer (forgot his name) and his wife Elizabeth as they try to
find each other and get off the ship (he is right ahead of Issac when
you are in mining, etc. and Issac planting beacon was what they were
trying to do down there)
I am really just hoping for more carnage
with the fact that part two takes place in a city. I am also expecting
many quiet and tense moments though, I doubt they will turn it into
Issac the Necro-Blaster in Space-Station Zero type game. |
