    so I put my brand new Assassins Creed 2 into my xbox and I'm having a great time. Then when I start to get into it, my xbox falls over and I get a scratch not too different from this one. The "Perfect Circle".

    I was distraught that my new game was ruined and I tried the toothpaste fix, but it hasn't helped. I know some game stores can fix games that this has happened to...but other than that, what can I do to play tonight?

    Is it installed on the HDD? If so, boil the disc. Repeat until it becomes recognizable, and just use it to boot from the HDD.
