"myrrh" is a pretty interesting level; everyone's skeptic about it
though. Me and a bunch of other anons found a lead to another red
herring from that page, here's the story if you wanna hear:
Notice
how the voice sais "look behind you?" Well, why not look at the text
and take every letter next to "u", first from the right side, then from
the left.
The letters taken to the left of the letter U form
"ggnhe", and "jmbei" when taken from the right. Both options lead to a
page with a picture of worms, with no box for text input. Red herring.
Which
again reminds us of the part with the paintings, where the solutions
sounded pretty easy and yet they didn't work; they didn't show up as
404s but rather redirections.
Fun fact, you get directed to the
same page with worms after inputting "man". If you've read the
livejournal page posted above, you'll know that in the solving of that
puzzle, Poe was also involved.
I wonder, how come Poe appears
twice in this riddle. |
