I think the series is rather generic with a plot that isn't very inspiring.

Gameplay kind of comes across as 'okay'.

It's takes practice because I also play Halo 3 as well so I am used to the Halo 3 tactics of gameplay.

Not only you have to use cover efficiently, at the same time you have to occasionally bum rush the opposite team!

I never got into the multi, but the campaigns are amongst the best I've played.

I don't have anything against this game. I bought both and loved them, but i will never buy three now just because one of my dumbass friends said that

Last time I played was with a good friend on Gears of War 2's matchmaking. It was 2 A.M. and the host team was 4 people from Taiwan.

Really depends on the host. I've had some good connections even when the host was on the other team. Most of the time, unfortunately, it's not a good host but they can still be beaten with good teamwork.

MP is fucking gay because people just use the sniper shotgun, and cheap exploits..

And the single player has a nice interesting story that has me gripped for a good while. I think I'll rent 3 just to get the story.

Yes, General RAMM. The fact is that in order to defeat him you have use the Torque Bow to disperse the Krill, then shoot him in the head for massive damage. But at the same time, you have to deal with Dom dying on you and the fact that if you run out of ammo for the Torque Bow, you will have to use your grenades to disperse the Krill and use the Lancer to machine gun his ass.

Don't forget he can actually walk while being shot at, while holding the Troika. (Then again, you can blind fire on his face if he gets close enough)

What I do like about the game is that the backstory of the game is revolved around war, except for two peaceful periods.

Seras has been used to warfare for a long time, and it's amazing that the planet has a Age of Armageddon: A war lasting for thousands of years!
