has /v/ ever been robbed of a game or game console?

if so, what game/console, and how did you get robbed?

I remember once I lent my Nuclear Strike PS1 game to a friend back in middle school years ago, but he never returned it

Same thing with a RE4 poster of Leon getting chainsawed

so /v/, what you been robbed of?

Actually stole a few games from a guy I didn't know about a year ago.

    Feels bad man.

He was a friend of a friend, and we went to a party at his place. He had a 360 and a huge stack of games, so I decided to go through it purely out of interest until I found four games I wanted and had never played and just sort of impulsively took them, which was easy with so many people around and no one really caring what anyone else was doing.

Games were Silent Hill Homecoming, Dead Space, Halo 3, and Ace Combat 6. I've since sold Silent Hill and given Halo 3 away >_>

God what a dick I am.

This was during my highschool days, and i knew quite a few people. I once traded with some kid my mechassault game for his halo and we intended to trade back but... It just never happened.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater, I don't remember who stole it but I just remember it was stolen.

I'm pretty sure one of my sister's nigger classmate stole my DS that I let my sister borrow.

Some faggot stole Pokemon Silver out of my backpack in middle school

In 7th grade, I was at my friend's house for a sleepover, and he tried to be slick by trading my Mewtwo, Venusaur, and Dragonite in to his copy of Gold. We ended up getting in to a fight about it, his mom thought it was hilarious. I ended up winning after I pushed him in to his console set-up and making him bust his N64.

At that point his mom told him to quit being a jackass and let me keep the game because it wasn't worth it.

And that's how I replaced my copy of Pokemon Silver AND got a nicely established copy of Gold.

I was 8 years old, my mom was making food at the kitchen, i got out of my room and went there, and by the time i got back my SNES was gone, with big dirty footprints on the bed (the guy wasn't even wearing shoes, i could see his fingers on the print).

He didn't have time to take the cables though... the SMW cartridge on it was taken too.

My friend lent me a copy of God of War that he borrowed from one of his other friends. I never had the chance to give it back and since it's already been over 5 years, it would be extremely awkward to just give it back and say "hey dude, here's your game back, I kinda forgot I had it." Someone took Feel the Magic and Nintendog cases out of the back of my car. I have a tendency to leave my car unlocked and leave nothing of value in it, so people don't have to bust my windows again to find out I have nothing worth stealing. Just forgot I had them back there.

My brother cleaned out my N64 collection once. When he was going to leave for college, he asked if he could borrow a few games. When I asked which, he named a good 80% of my games. I told him no and made sure to lock the door before I went to sleep so that he couldn't come in to steal them while I was asleep (I knew he had been stealing from me for years already, so I wasn't going to trust him). Morning comes, my door is open with no signs of forceful entry, and ALL of my games are gone. Turns out my mother had given my brother the spare key to my bedroom. I told my parents that they had just cost me a good $400 worth of video games, and they were furious that I would dare accuse my brother of stealing. A month later, my brother gets arrested on drug charges, and I tell them to get my games back since he won't be needing them in prison. They come back empty handed. My brother had already sold them all for drug money. They swore they'd buy them all back for me. To this day, they haven't bought back a single fucking one.

    I stole a friend's Pokemon Yellow once.
He had meew, mewtwo, all pokemon lvl 99.....
I couldn't resist the temptation. We were in our fifth grade class, and we had an old-ass substitute teacher. She confiscated his gameboy color with the gamepack in it. I took my textbook to her, told her i needed help with a problem, held the book over the drawer the game was in, grabbed the game (i didnt want the gameboy), said "Thanks," and sat down. Shit was sooo cash... but I felt so guilty I gave it back the next day.

For the purpose of the story, my name is John Smith, and I live at 1313 Applewood Lane, Everytown NH.

Had a old comp and a few other doodads way back when that got stolen. Turns out the local pawn shop guy was a total fence and he was black. Yes this matters. U mad?. Anyway, everybody in town totally knew that he dealt in stolen goods. My stuff got stolen, I went over with a checklist of everything that I lost and matched my list 98%. Then I called the police and met them in front of the store with my driver's license and social security card to prove my identity, then we confronted the shop owner. "Naw man I deal legit, I don't do that, you're lying!"

I go over to my comp, and pull of the side cover, where written in sharpie is 'Property of John Smith, 1313 Applewood Lane, Everytown NH.' "Still legit bro? Check this out". Open a battery cover, on the insert is 'Property of John Smith, 1313 Applewood Lane, Everytown NH.' etc etc. I did this for 8 items until he finally confessed. He did time, I got my stuff back. It sucked though because he had had it for maybe a day and screens were scratched, cases were cracked, jesus fuck it was a wonder anything was working insurance took care of that though

    Moral: Pays to be OCD.
