Not much different really. Just concentrated more on the dynasty aspect of your empire than empire building per se. A lot of managing who your sons marry, who your wife is, how your relations are with other rulers and making sure the mongols don't whipe you out.

I am gonna play a CK game, turn a county into a kingdom, then export that to EU3, turn that kingdom into an empire, then export that into Victoria and turn that empire into a superpower and then export THAT game into HoI2 and conquer the world.

I love Empire at War. Not for star wars as much as I love the space battles and the mods that came out for it for some huge capital ship battles.

What sucked about Victoria was how extremely ahistorical the world developed, and yes I realize the point is to create a unique alternate history. The countries behaved really oddly and everything was extremely wacky and fucked up.

What makes HoI2 the best is that it, after a lot of patches and whatnot, have achieved a good AI, and the game design strikes a good balance between depth and fun/ease of use. It's pretty intuitive imo, and having the whole buildup phase before all hell breaks loose feels so right.

Shorter time period = greater quality.

Also, the Kaiserreich mod is fucking amazing.

I find that the Tyranids are best for harassing control points. The Orks are best for rushing. The eldar are best for surpressing hero units. But the Space Marines suit my playstyle of lettin my buddies cap the points while I provide heavy support with my hero and cluster fuck of tactical marines.

I started as Britain, and released all possible puppets.

Then this happened, pic related. FUCKHUEG DISSENT.

Britain broke down and Scotland popped up, I decided to play as them.

It was funny because I made a custom event that caused every country on earth to get max dissent, so there were partisans EVERYWHERE, and the entire world turned black. It was neat, running around in dead, desolate countries and trying to clean them up and taking out the partisans that were roaming about the countryside. Call me a faggot, but I pretended it was a worldwide zombie outbreak and only my Scottish fellows survived it, and now they were trying to reclaim the world.
