Final Fantasy XV - no dialogue, only 2-3 characters.
Open world, more free-flow battle system (though 13 was pretty good at this too), standard leveling up (none of this sphere grid/crystarium stuff)
Plot revolves around a male main character and a female support...they are siblings and probably teenagers or younger. (still FF, I'm not optimistic enough for anything else) These kids travel around the world slowly unraveling the secrets to a human-less world.
Eventual predictable plot twist - world is actually "doll house" being monitored by some elder god figure (named Bahamut)
2nd eventual predictable(?) plot twist - rest of the human race is in cryosleep in hidden warehouses around the planet. Records show the planet was once earth, got too unihabitable, used science to stay alive until earth is liveable again.
Main characters decide that they should try to wake everybody up. Wonder how it will end.

All I know is that the ~2 hours of FF XIII I've played so far only make me want to play FF X.

I mean, the Crystarium system feels like the Alpha version of the Sphere Grid for crying out loud.

Also, I really do not like Paradigm system, since it's pretty much exactly like the Gambit system with a new coat of paint. Having the game play itself for me isn't my definition of fun.

FF XV needs to keep it simple.

I'd like a main character that's not quite as cheesy/annoying happy as Tidus, but still optimistic and realistic. That's asking a bit much from Square though.
