No dual wielding is a good thing. Potentially good weapons in Halo 2 got completely fucked over because they were dual wieldable. With that system gone, every weapon will be good in its own right.

If you need any proof, look at the difference between the Needler in Halo 2 and 3.

Reach has shit that simply should of been there since halo 2, and everything past halo 2 should of been an amplified version of halo 2.

Oh and don't forget having a health bar now means that it will make a difference, Bungie knows how to trick simple minded fuckers every time they make another halo.
If armor lock isn't instant then it will be worthless.
Reticule bloom is the smartest thing they could have done to balance the fact that consistent headshots do not matter, only bodyshots with one headshot, but hey who is actually going to miss with that magnetic tracking right.
Campaign is going to be done right and hell maybe they thought about fixing the constant button lag in coop.
However it is still a game that I'm probably going to buy and maybe enjoy, but is still going to be as easy as every halo prior.

ODST was my favorite Halo campaign. Though reach will probably be a lot better.

Anyone noticed that most of /v/ in fact doesn't mind Halo in the end? It's a shame that it isn't on PCs, people without consoles have never really given it a fair go.

To this day, it is one of my favourite games to play online - mainly due to the fact that the weapon/vehicle balance is pretty flawless (unless you count the BR).

Look at the feature lists, separating Halo 2 and Halo 3.

Forge, capable of completely changing the maps around, and a map maker, along with a level that allows you to make 3 different varieties of maps.
Theatre,
Online Co-op, with co-op, competitive scoring scoring, toggled skulls, 4 players.
Equipable supplies, that allow you to delploy shields, heal your teammates, deploy mines, drain shields, make gravity lifts, ect.

Halo 3 is THREE YEARS OLD. There have been TWO GAMES SINCE THEN. ODST was advertised as having beta access to Reach. I got ODST for half price during some christmas sales, and I didn't have any halo 3 map packs. Firefight is AWESOME and I enjoyed the campaign. Took my time with it and explored.

Yeah, it was short. Yeah, I'm pissed that firefight has no fucking matchmaking. But I felt it was worth it and now I get to play in the beta. I hope Firefight comes back for Reach.
