again, its not because its a kids game, or because we hate pokemon, or
because blah blah blah.
The problem is, way to fucking often
these days, even after the two new pokemon games, the average /v/ user
will open up /v/, and see not one self contained pokemon General, but a
SS Pokemon General, then a Red Pokemon General, and a Pokemon girl
fanart General, and a whats your favorite pokemon General, and while a
few get taken back a few pages, more keep getting made.
Sure,
might not be any right now, but I can think of at least 4 times in the
past week this has happened, I opened up /v/, and saw 4 Pokemon threads
covering the front page, sure, it may be a game, but if you guys can't
fucking contain it into one general thread, perhaps its time you did get
your own board to post all these different Pokemon posts.
Will
/v/ die without you? Probably not, stop trying to scare moot into
thinking this would kill /v/, it might get a little slower sure, but
more then likely, we will actually see discussion on other games, or
other things, rather then just constant pokemon threads, with other
threads getting pushed off the front page for some guy to talk about how
he just got Geodude in something other then Pokemon General.
And
yes, I understand its not a kiddy game, and can actually be fun to an
adult, I play Sengoku Rance occasionally because I enjoy the conquest
aspect, rather then for HOT RAPE TIMES, so I can kind of see how
something is not always easy to stereotype into one specific thing,
however the amount of threads about pokemon nightly just needs to be
fixed, whether you do it yourself, or moot takes action. |
