POST YOUR AGE AND THE FIRST GAME YOU REMEMBER PLAYING. Also, how old you where when you played that game?

    ------------------

I'm 33 year old and the first game I remember having played was Space Invaders for the Atari 2600. I thing I was 6 or 7 year old. One thing is sure, I fell in love with the vidia right then.

I am 24 years old. The first game I remember was the shitty "Chessmaster" NES port that my parents bought to stimulate my infant brain. It's debatable which I played first though. The memory is a mishmash of Jaws, 'Batman, or SMB, all for NES.

In the meantime, let me tell you that I was a poor kid and video games where always fucking expensive. As a child all the way to my early teens, I would always hang out in any arcades, watching people play or even just watching the games demos playing themselves. I would also do this in any 7/11 or restaurant that had any machine.
Of course, any quarters I found was immediately lost in these arcade machine.

    Ah, good old days...

I'm 25 and the first game I remember seeing was one of EA's golf games for the Tandy TL/2. My father used to take me out to his place of work Saturdays, buying some donuts on the way, and show me the golf game at a computer there. I was around four or five. After my dad bought a Tandy TL/2 to foster my interest in computers (and for some productivity software he almost certainly never used) I played around with the course editor all the time.

The first really decent game that I played all the way through again and again was Operation Neptune in around first or second grade. Holy fuck I loved it. The game's a solid platformer with plenty of replay value and the math puzzles seem like a natural addition to the game, featuring obvious stuff you'd need to do on a regular basis when in a sub. I still replay it every now and then, it's fucking awesome.

I was born in july of 91, just before the snes came to america, despite that, i grew up with an nes until probably about the time the n64 was out. I remember at that time about we managed to get an snes. I remember playing games such as mega man x a lot on the snes but i especially remember playing chrono trigger on the snes in the transition from 1999 and 2000, I believe my brother told me "hey this is when lavos comes to destroy the earth" or something like that. During the times until I got the next generation I was completely unaware of the system that was the current gen until the game cube. I was set back a few years game wise and being a kid with few friends I didn't know anyone with a newer system.
    BUT
to be more on topic my first game was certainly an nes game but it is hard to say whether it was mega man, mario, duck hunt, star tropics, freedom force, or any other assortment of the nes games.

My memories don't have a timeline that far back. I played Galaga in arcade. I'm pretty sure I played Space Invaders on PC but I never liked it so I must have played Galaxian on my Atari 2600 before that. First game I owned was Adventure for the 2600. My cousins were a bit older and had a missile command ripoff with teeth for the buildings...

One of the first things I remember is playing on our computer with floppy disks. We had like 50 floppy disks all with different stuff on them. And one of them had +100 games (I might be remembering it wrong, though... A lot of games anyway) and there were some pretty great games.
Black and white games fuck yeah.
It also had moving porn pictures.
