  • Kimmo Alm aka "Sysop" from AnT has been spamming us for YEARS now, and has recently stepped it up. This shit has got to fucking stop.
As promised, here are all of the e-mails he has sent me over the years (and my responses).
    ↑ UPDATED March 16th! ↑
One of Kimmo's ex-moderators posted hundreds of PMs. They are absolutely hilarious/terrifying.

Is this worth renting bro? Have to take back FFXIII to Blockbuster in three days (After paying 9 bucks for five days and a dollar every day since like the 14th) and I'm curious as to whether I should pick up this one.

I'm getting my JRPG on. One day I'll be reminded of the days of Star Ocean: Til the End of Time.

Fuck I loved that game. But I digress.

Side Quests are actually well done though, They're rather fun, and provide items that make the main quest a lot easier.

I do like this game's sense of humor though. It's a tinge whacky and not overly stale. JRPG humor tends to be pretty formulaic...and lame. Great interplay between the three mains, I wish there was a way to view the cinematics at any time though.

I was thinking of picking this up tomorrow (because despite the EU release date being a week away, it's listed as "available" at the game store I go to).
Any major differences between the 360/PS3 versions? I've already looked at screencaps and while there are some differences, I don't mind either version. I do prefer the 360 controller, so I'll probably go for the 360 version. Anyway, is there anything big that sets the two apart that I should know of?

    At Ch5

So pretty much most of my battles consist of Vash leaping in with an SMG (and getting shot up), one of the other two following him afterwards (to clean up his scratch damage) and then I use the 2 resonance points to fuck some shit up before it has a chance to do any real damage.

At that point the enemy force is usually weak enough to not be a big issue.

Am I doing it wrong? Somehow I feel I could be handling things more efficiently. Haven't had any problems with the bosses aside from the occasional CONDITION CRITICAL which is pretty much an immediate restart, because you cannot get out of that shit.

Vash is a good SMGer since he has the most HP, and SMGers tend to get shot up a lot since they're first in.

I think I'm using grenades wrong since they just seem to suck ass and enemies rarely get close enough to hit multiple.

Honestly I haven't had any reason to do anything but scratch then direct.

No character has a "set" weapon for them or does better with one than the other. You can pretty much customize them however you want.

If you think Vash looks better with dual guns, go for it. Want Zep to use grenades or be the healer? Why not? Or you can just have Leanne bomb everything like you said.

Vash kicks grenades in Hero Actions, looks badass
Leanne is a pretty cool looking pistolier, and her SMG stance isn't bad.
Zeph, dual wielding SMGs only. Final destination.

No, you want everyone to use everything at certain points.

Max level is 300, you get that by combining the level of your weapons, 100 HG, 100 SMG, and 100 thrown.
Switching weapons also makes it so you level up faster, which means you get more HP, and have more encumburance.

Non-Humans ending seems like the better one.

Ganz and Gawain die, but you save Ridley and stop the Gold Dragon or whatever. Jack and Ridley then return to Radiata together.

Either way, both ending could have been done better. In the Human Path you start killing Non-Humans because the Humans are insecure and easily swayed faggots.

in the Non-Human path you end up killing the humans because the Non-Humans are insecure and jaded faggots.

Make sure you land your characters near the enemies so they'll focus on you instead of the statue. Also be sure to take them down as quickly as possible, as the longer the battle drags on, the more damage the statue will take.

Or you can just fuck up the enemies faster. Try to keep your guys away from the statue or it will get hit by stray bullets. Don't let the mannequins get point blank in range. Also the last room will probably fuck you up bad.
