We'd used to make 70km in one day almost every week with out bikes, and we'd go out a lot of time, but now it's not as easy. The guy makes a decent point but at the end of the day videogames can be a legitimately fun and wholesome activity that you can enjoy without any negative repercussions.

It's when you develop a long lasting addiction to, say, online competetive games, that problems start happening. Recently I had to quit playing Street Fighter 4 because I just wasn't enjoying it enough considering the hours I was putting in (basically 4 hours a day). But yeah, it took me around 3 months to realise I wasn't enjoying it, but was just addicted and should quit. I have quit the game now and feel much better.

So yeah, videogames CAN be bad for your life, but if you are a smart, self-aware, emotionally mature person, they are not harmful.
