    I'm going for a Bachelor's in CS for this. While working for some lower-rate company, I hope to have a small thing going with a couple of friends and possibly co-workers to eventually become our own studio.

    Considering im heading down the IT technician route (networking primarily) the best I could hope for in that vein would be getting a techie job at some game company.
    Which would be pretty cool, I suppose. Getting to look over their shoulders at the stuff theyre doing, solvan their problems and stuff.
    I doubt I will, but itd be nice.

    I did that for sega and it is awful, the pay isn't great, it's really boring and if you were interested in playing the game it'll be ruined for you (thank god it was sega). Only good points are you get your name put in the credits and the bros were actually kinda cool instead of the fat basement dwellers I expected.

    Except that working in testing is utter wank. You have to run the same area of the game dozens of time with different variables to look for bugs. More so if it happens to be some shitty sandbox game like Fallout 3.
