was a thread earlier today talking about possible ideas for Final
Fantasy XV, but I didn't get to share this one. Thus, I'm dumping it on
you unlucky jerks. The concept is to make the summons the stars
of the show, in a sense. The main character is a summoner mainly, though
played as though he were acted by Cary Elwes, and throughout their
quest to save the world, instead of collecting the usual cast members,
he would collect summons that would take physical form and become party
members themselves. The challenge then becomes managing the contrasting
personalities of these summons, as well as their general unfamiliarity
with the current state of the world. In battle, of course, the
summons could call forth their true forms, the imposing and powerful
forms that they're known for, or stay in their smaller, human-sized
forms in situations where-in overkill is not particularly necessary...
these would be few and far between, because overkill is fun. The
summons that would appear would be Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh, Odin, Bahamut,
Alexander, and Carbuncle, with a number of other Final Fantasy mainstays
being principle characters there-in.
