 problem isn't that the gameplay is linear, honestly not alot people 
mind that. However most linear type games have at least some wide space 
areas or splitting ways(only splits in FFXIII are, go left 20m for an 
item and enemies , go right 20m for no item, the paths will join after 
that again) while FFXIII feels like going down a corridor the entire 
time. It's really claustrophobic  |
