I roll with every class, depending on how the whole team is doing. I'll go assault if attacking and launch smoke grenades to cover the tanks from ats. I'll go medic if the whole team is being riddled by bullets and engie if we have tanks taking lots of fire. I don't use sniper too much unless I'm running around spamming motion sensors.

I like this game a lot, compared to other FPS games.

The Mortar no longer looks like an Ipod though, its the goggles used for the missile the Recon class had in BC1.

Shit works the same though but with 2x zoom.

I don't understand why Recon gets claymores. What the hell is a camping sniper class going to do with claymores? Aside from sticking them on an ATV and suicide crashing.

The smoke always seemed to disappear really fast for me, then again it was the first beta on the PS3 and assault had c4s in that, WITH resupply.

Because Recon is not limited to just sniping. If you want to just snipe, you can easily get the Mortar unlock for Recon which replaces the C4.

Otherwise, you can use a shotgun/Thompson/M1/M14 and go Battle Recon in a Guille suit.

I have seriously been knifed in the demo by people sprinting at me while I shoot their faces. I seem to have a second or so delay with the knife so I don't know if they hit it really early while they sprint or what.

Getting wise I started listening out for footsteps between tank shells and whipped around once to pop a recon with my pistol, he was sprinting toward me in a building. His body slumped at my feet.

The only downfall the LMG's had in the beta was that, it was "supposed" to gain accuracy when fired in bursts, but it didn't. At least in the PC beta. Other than that, they did more damage, fired faster, larger magazine, and "should" have more accuracy. But like I said, to each their own, they may just enjoy using a Thompson instead.

I had a BLAST as a Saiga Assault, but I really want to play Battle Recon with a M14. Only thing keeping me from doing so is that you get 2 motion mines total in the PC beta, you couldn't resupply them. No, I'm not asking to throw out 12 motion mines at once. But make them behave like Ammo/Medkits. Only 2 can be down at any time, or only 1 at any time. You could then resupply them as fast as say C4 resupply's.
