02/20/10(Sat)12:42 No.50191285I
used to be like OP, and your bro is right.
I don't regret
anything I've done in my life, but I know when I've made mistakes.
Spending your life in front of a computer screen is not living. There's a
myriad of things to do in life, and countless of interesting people to
meet. I know when I was younger and "knew better", I knew that
socializing was bullshit and it was only a way of meeting unintelligent
and uninteresting people. Fortunately, I learned that my mindset wasn't
formed from experience, but rather perception, and that I've been
horribly wrong.
I'm not one to tell someone else how to live
their life, but if you feel bad about being a shut-in now, it's just
going to get worse and worse as the years go by. Also, I have ass
burgers, so I have a hell of a time getting out of my house, but a few
good friends and lots of hard work, you can learn to open yourself up. |
