I can't stand NC, but I also watch every single review he puts out. Why? I don't fucking know, some times he's funny. I think that his problem is that he is trying to go for a full-tv-length for his reviews. When he started making those over 20 minutes long it started to suck. Suck badly.

I couldn't care less for the AVGN, I like his stuff, but he never was that present in the internet, his reviews were always scarce and it's always like he's talking to 8 year olds that still think that yell "SHIT FUCKS" 5 times straight is funny.

About Yahtzee I used to like him already when he made games and his Yahtzee Takes on the World webcomic (I still go back to reading it every now and then because it's awesome). The Chzo Mythos is one of the best Adventure series I ever fucking played.
When he started making the ZP I thought it was funny, but now it's just OK, I still follow it, but eh. Whatever. I'm glad that he's making money playing games, and also no one ever in the internet made me more jealous of himself than yahtzee and his mana fucking bar ( www.manabar.com.au ). Nice job, very informative, but your pacing is too slow. The title of the first video was almost misleading because you don't actually start reviewing the controller until the second video. The first was just background and discussion of others' reviews, which could have been compressed into an introduction for the second video. Also, if you're trying to make a joke, you have to make your delivery faster, or it loses its punch.

Here's the problem - just doing the review, or doing the voiceover straight is MUCH less fun to film. I'm the camera girl on the Short Fat Otaku show mentioned above, and when we just play it straight it gets a bit tedious.

Throwing in a short skit here and there makes it a lot of fun to write and shoot for those of us on the creative side of reviewing. The trick is to make sure they're legitimately entertaining and not too long.

On the subject of Spoony, someone mentioned how he made a video where he showed off his (current?) girlfriend, and shortly after, people made comments about how fat or ugly or whatever she was. Because of this, Spoony threw a shitfit and not only took down the video, but banned a lot of users or something?

I never got the whole story, so I wouldn't mind having someone clear this up for this up for me. Also, if anyone screencapped what his girlfriend looks like.

Well, the reason why I like UWW is because I don't feel like I have to go back and watch some video made in 2007 to get a joke he made. He sticks pretty close to the game he's playing, and hearing his reactions to a particularly difficult segment is funny, but I can relate to it, because he sounds genuinely frustrated without hamming it up, like AVGN.
