The livestream is vidya-related and should be perfectly okay, the same as posting a youtube video of, say, a Let's Play.

It's the streamer posting the link, then like one sentence on whatever, and then BAM, the rest of the thread is random image spam.

Jill Redfield here. I really only streamed movies, but I did put up threads on /v/ when I was having vidya movie nights. I normally didn't mind the zany /v/ antics, and never really ban unless it's spammers or someone going overboard with the trolling. Also, I never spammed my threads with image bumps. I'd say a couple things and let it go after a while.

Kinda sucks that streaming isn't allowed on /v/, since it's the closest we've had to actual gaming discussion in a while. Oh well. There's always the other boards that aren't nearly as anal about everything as /v/.

I'll say when the stream has started, and at times when the stream is still early and people can still catch the movie before it gets too deep into the story. Then at times I'll use sages and people trolling to my advantage to keep it bumped. And I have only one instance where I asked my viewers to bump a thread.
