I am aware of this, but he melees before the attack finishes it's charge and then riddles me full of holes. Don't even get me started on trying to lunge attack him. This guy is a beast. Even trying to get him from the ceiling with my tail, he just jumps up and punches me off.

When you block a light attack and then immediately smack them, it does the stun\knockdown.

Sometimes you just cannot defend yourself though because of the stunning effect of being hit. Just have to guess what attack they are going to use.

heavy attacks can be hard to spot, and most aliens are exactly aware of how many hits it takes to kill a marine.

just shoot them. if they try to open with a heavy attack you can possibly kill them before it gets off. if it hits you, 90% chance the next hit will be a light to finish you off. block, counter, and shoot him while he's on the ground. pop a stim afterwards and it's like he never even hit you.

if you can actually see the heavy attack coming, then sure melee him to interrupt it.

Also, preds confirmed for camper tier. Jump on top of the map. Spam saw blade or plasma cannon if you have it.
