Remember when you would dump a squadmates skill points into assault rifles only for them to keep pulling out their shotgun in the middle of a fight?

Remember when there was a coherent and awesome story?!
I remember when we had a shitton of unimportant and other must have skills to raise. that isn't good skill design. they could have done something better in ME2 but they simply didn't bother because it didnt matter. they just made all must have skills default, and removed the ones that didnt matter.
>>48643159Remember only ever using the Spectre X weapons?
>>48643216Fuck this shit
>>48642481remember when graphics looked shittier?ME1 < ME2
>>48643302I always used the geth assault rifle because it was a million times cooler.
Remember when there was more than 2 weapons?
>>48642481No, I remember how it pretended it had depth that it didn't have, though. I remember a bunch of boring powers that never did much.
remember when games weren't dating sims?Me > you
>>48643185I'll agree. I played ME1 on the 360 and I enjoyed it and it didnt feel like a shitty console FPS
>>48643216Okay, so the solution to too much loot is to remove the system all together, right?I fucking hate BioWare for caving into the drooling retards who can't handle a bit of RPG in their RPG.
>>48643393Oh please, it was a shitty system at best. Stop trying to defend it. It was pathetic and you know it.You still find weapons and shit on missions anyway, it's not even that different. They just don't drop like candy for you to sell to vendors to earn money you're never, ever going to use.
Remember when there were more than 5 different sets of armor
>>48643450noalzheimer > you
>>48643393Yes. If it adds fuck all to the gameplay then get the fuck rid of it. You don't add more shit on and you don't hold on to the things for the sake of appealing to the RPG purist faggots who can't enjoy Arcanum for one reason and ME2 for another.Loot was retarded in ME1 and I don't fucking miss it at all. I do wish there were more weapons to choose from for your loadout, and that there were more armor pieces to get.
>>48643393They should have also cut as much as dialog as possible. Dumbing down the game is a great way to bring in $.
Me2 got rid of all the SHIT
REMEMBER WHEN YOU HAD ONE SKILL FOR EVERY WEAPON SO YOU WERE FORCED TO USE THAT WEAPON ALL THE TIME, REALLY FUCKING FUN RIGHT!?

>>48643587No, I remember the elevator rides being boring and slow and repetitive.I can press the Guide button while there's a loading screen going and do something else for a minute instead. Then when I come back and it's loaded I turn off the Guide and start playing immediately.

>>48643611asspained out of actual funny joke not even trying to make fun of youwhatthefuckamireading.jpg
All Bioware needs to do is bring the armor customization over to teammates and weapons, and then add more options
>>48643699yeah sorry about that, i have trouble not being aggressively argumentative with anyone in a mass effect thread
I just started playing ME2.How the hell am I supposed to tell what weapon is better? There are no stats like those in the first game. All i get is a model number and a tl:dr description.I'm afraid I'll equip some nVidia rebrand thinking a higher number is better. Also: there is so much less freedom in upgrades. I'd rather have incendiary ammo be an upgrade rather than a major skill like it was in ME1
>>48643698The Mass Effect 1 ending credits give me chills.
>>48643698The whole suicide mission was fucking awesome and tense. I hope they do more that in me3
remember the clunky and shitty controls for the pc version of mass effect 1
>>48643647Loading screens are an interruption of the flow of the game. The elevator rides weren't too bad. Even when the loading screens popped up in the first game they were quite short.
>>48643858Any weapon you find is an upgrade
>>48643910Yes, they were. And they broke the pace and flow of the game just fine.Regardless of your PC, they were too fucking LONG.Now you can have fast loading times.
>>48643859Yeah it is too bad they didn't have equally awesome music for ME2. ME1 music > ME2 musicI did like the return of the main theme however.
Although i do prefer ME2 to ME, I do miss certain features from ME such as more customisation and communicating with characters mid-mission. Although these things are missed, a lack of them is not game-breaking, and so ME2 is still an enjoyable experience. I look forward to ME2 DLC and ME3.
>>48642481REMEMBER 60 LEVELS OF NOTHING ?I SURE DO
>>48644015You guys need patience. The elevator rides were very tolerable.Loading screens suck.
Remember when Adept was an awesome crowd control class?Enjoy only using warp, now.
>>48643159Haven't played 2, but the loot system in ME1 was the worst fucking loot system ever. Pick up a million piece of shit items automatically, and I have to sit there grinding a bunch of items into omni gel because my inventory would fill up. Then the stores NEVER had anything worthwhile.
REMEMBER WHEN YOU HAD TO CARRY FOUR WEAPONS BUT COULD ONLY USE ONE?????
remember WREX/thread
remember when Bioware took the suggestions of thousands of asspained fans and implimented them into ME2 and made it overall a better game. Remember 2 weeks later when someone finally beats ME2 he goes to the internet wasteland of chatting forums and posts how much of a faggot he is?OH WAIT THAT PERSON IS YOU.
ITT: People actually defending a RPG for not having customization.Good show /v/
>>48643873I just reinstalled it recently to do a character for ME2 (and to remember everything in ME1), and was floored when I realized the game thinks my mouse side buttons are the same. Arg.ME2 has some stupid "DERP PC" mistakes too, like all the hint things on loading screens and when ingame being hardcoded rather than reflecting what you actually have the keys bound to.
Are we honestly debating whether loading screens or long elevator rides are worse? Jesus christ, both are minor inconveniences at best, shut the fuck up.
>>48644165I prefer whatever lasts LESS.Simple enough.
>>48644214I remember when I unloaded my shotgun into that hideous stinking aliens face.
>>48644251How about you shut the fuck up, cuntface?
>>48644179See, the inventory cap was annoying, but I liked being able to carry all that shit, cause you could at least sell it and make mad monies. If you need money in ME2 you have to join Conrad in the crate poking game.
>>48644179The Omni-Gel/piles of useless loot issue in one could have been fixed pretty easily. If shit had stacked or allowed you to turn large amounts of things into gel at once rather than one at a time it would have been far better.Simple shit like that seems to get by Bioware constantly.
Remember when Garrus was a boring?Remember not being able to fuck Tali or Minrith?Remember a lack of EDI?Remember the Citadel?
>>48644381/v/ truly has the best community of any video game web site.
>>48644169I used to be a god in ME1.Now I'm practically dead weight. Thanks, bioware.
>>48644424>implying that crate poking isn't a common element of the game.Besides isn't it Shepard who inspired Conrad's crate poking tendancies?
>>48643406>weapon has slightly better stats than previous gun and looks exactly the same>15 weapon slots filled with the previous weapon typeyeah i miss that
I don't miss being at max credits/full Spectre gear at 30. At that point I just stopped upgrading everything and didn't give a shit. I had so much omni-gel..I don't miss not being able to swap out weapons all the goddamn time. Playing Soldier in ME2? I have a gun for every occasion and no reason to not use them. The music was good and still memorable at times, and even though ME2 lacked a weird vocal song, M4 Part 2 seems even more suitable for ME2 than it did for ME1.I wish there were more places to explore on the plot planets and the Citadel, but I expect that stuff to eventually show up through the Cerberus Network.
>>48644169So you don't know how to use pull, throw, and shockwave?Fucking tard.
Remember in ME1 when shields actually mattered?*wind blows really hard*SHIELDS DOWN!

I think that my Shepard is too handsome for ME2, since his identity code doesn't work.Fucking pain in the ass, man....
>>48644718I could kill a group of people with thrown on insanity. Lift + Throw was godly. And my pistol never failed me.
>>48644796Good luck hitting me when I'm converted into PURE BIOTIC ENERGY BEING HURLED AT YOUR FACE.
>>48644675Remember in ME1 when you could just flail around outside of cover and not get punished for it?I actually like ME2 for the fact that I have to watch what the fuck I'm doing.I also fucking LOVE not running into a Geth Colossus or Thresher Maw every other fucking minute. They made the big bad monsters seem REALLY big and bad this time around. The shit that was supposed to be scary and dangerous actually was. Doooooo want.
Elevator vs. Load screenElevator has about 10 seconds worth of chatting and 20 seconds of dead silence where the load screen is about 10-15 seconds of just a looping animation. as much as i like the chatting crew the load screen is quicker. what they should have done is like in DA where while you walk around whoever is in your party starts up a chat with another teammate.
Remember when you could talk to the same characters and each time you did a mission or progressed several levels they'd have something new to say?
>>48644812>Implying Manshep codes should work with robot voice actor
>>48644859>implying charge will work for the platform an infiltrator would stand on
>>48644599Well no shit, you were a soldier and could use every damn gun.Hell, I think the only reason why people USE different guns in ME2 is because of the ammo system.
>>48644894This happens now every FEW missions or so.Because you have so many fucking more missions to do.They do not talk less, you just now have MORE MISSIONS.Plus, UNIQUE character sidequests with actual content.Useless whinging is useless.

>>48644960I think he means shockwave.

>>48644894we used to be bros, Garrus.
>>48644902My custom Shepard does pretty well with the voice actor, and doesn't look half bad when using facial expressions.
>>48645021>Shockwave>Implying shockwave converts the USER into biotic energy
>>48642703>>48642481This. Also party members only have 3 usable skills and a passive skill. Nothing special.I still fucking love ME2 though.
>>48644960>Implying my Heavy Shockwave wont knock you down>Implying I can't charge you if you're in mid air.
>>48644718>sentinel>good in ME1lol noHe's great now though.
>>48644991Try speaking with Garrus, Jacob or Grunt on the Normandy. They will give you one conversation and an additional one after you do their loyalty mission.Yeah they're too busy doing callibrations.
>>48644991>ME1>Dialogue after every mission>ME2>"Sorry, I have to calibrate the guns. Can we talk later?"
>>48645116>implying my shields will be down for Shockwave to workGood luck getting that to happen when I'm invisible using your little pew pew gun and your LOLONLYFIVEFEETOFRANGE shotgun.
>>48645142I've had like 4 different conversations with each character.
>>48645056I dunno man, I exhausted my dialogue options with Garrus pretty early into ME1, too. It was just a lot cuter then. I wanna thank you for everything, Shepard, yaddah yaddah.
>>48645187>implying Vanguards can't learn to use a SniperThe fuck am i reading.
>>48645191You lie. You can flirt with your love interests for some extra dialogue but LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL DATING SIM
>>48645166Garrus is still beaten up inside about what happened back on Omega with his team. Sometimes wants hold in his pain ;_;
>>48645187Good luck being invisible when you're trapped in the black hole I created with my BLACK HOLE CANNON.
>>48645194At least he wanted to talk.
>>48645248>implying you can snipe what you can't see>>48645271>also implying you can shoot what can't be seen
>>48642481>>48642703These are the two things i miss most about ME1...and you know what? They're pretty big fucking things too. What the hell bioware?
I see the streamlining as a sort of experiment: See if it improves the Game, if not, improve in the next one
>>48645265You get as much dialogue as in ME1, you just have more hit to do.Obviously, ROMANCE adds a couple scenes. You are grasping.
>>48645194That's impossible. New dialogue options would unlock after each mission. At best you would have exhausted your dialogue with Garrus by Virmire.
>implying ME1 > ME2
>>48645316>Implying visibility has any effect on the fact what I just shot a super massive black hole in your general direction.
>>48645358>as much dialogueHell no. I talked to Samara once, did her loyalty mission and only talked once again after. They replaced dialogue with loyalty missions...im somewhat ok with that.
>>48645406some aspects were better thats all.
>>48645408Implying that I can't easily escape the blast radius especially with your shitty general direction aiming.
>>48645319Jacob and Mirand + 10 new companions happened.
>>48645406Greater in the 'RPG' department deffinitely. But ME2 is just a better game even if hate to admit it felt like a flatout TPS game with a few special powers. Psi Ops anyone?
>>48645510Holy shit Psi Ops.
>>48645425>Replacing dialogue with more combatNothing wrong with that. No siree.
>>48645494>Implying I then wouldn't be able to see you as your little blurry outline scramble away.>Implying I wouldn't then be able to charge you and make you eat shotgun.
>>48645510Having more /RPG/ traits does not mean they were actually good.
>>48645503Having lots of companions is important in ME2 because they're very restricted in how they can fight and shallow unlike in ME1 where they have a lot more versatility in what they can do in combat.
>>48645398and they all have something to say before the suicide mission. Now we are going to an even worse mission and they are all busy calibrating guns.Unless you're romancing someone, then you got lucky.
I don't care if we could talk more with the people in ME1 because the ones we already have in ME2 combined with the recruitment and loyalty missions in give us a lot better character development for a single person than for the whole cast in the previous game.
>>48645613>Implying that I have very poor reaction times and can't easily pop in a headshot.
>>48644801Wow. At least Liara still likes you.Ash is a fucking cunt about it.
I thought they were brilliant, and it actually felt like i was playing a Bioware game but to each their own. ME2 was fucking fantastic don't get me wrong. But i kept needing to get dialogue options to remind myself i was playing a WRPG and not a shooting game.
Will the two fags discussing how much they'd like to suck each others penis please stop, there are children present.
>>48645408>implying you know my general direction in the first place>>48645613>implying charge works, at all
>>48645684>Implying you can pop a head-shot while you're running from the black hole and/or while I'm charging at you in pure energy form.
>>48645425You can even talk to Samara enough to get close to a roamnce before she rejects you or threatning to kill ypu after the mission is over if you are renegade. She has at least FOUR unique scenes, outside the recruitment and her Loyalty mission.Count the missions of ME1 and remember a pattern.Just because you cannot trigger them does not mean they do not exist.
>>48645684>>48645613Just stop. Both of you stop. Go work out your homolust for each other someplace else.
>>48645398I did a lot of sidequests and shit. I guess if you just blew through the plot it felt like it balanced out, but add anything else into that and it became just like ME2 is now.
>>48645730Shouldn't you be in school, kid?

>>48645780>implying that one of us isn't a femanon.
>>48645629Except half of the characters has the same skills except for the extra skill unlocked after the loyalty missions. Legion for example is just Tali with long-range weapons.
>>48645780>>48645730>NO. FUN. ALLOWED. EVER. NOT ON /V/. WHY DON'T YOU JUST FLAME EACH OTHER OVER CONSOLE OF CHOICE ALREADY YOU FUCKING FAGS, KEEP TALKING ABOUT SUCKING DICK AND BEING GAY, NO I AM NOT SEXUALLY REPRESSED AND IMMATURE.
>>48645780I HAVE REACH BUT HE HAS FLEXIBILITYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!
>>48645780>Implying I'm not watching you from under your bed
>>48645919NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.I mean, a Sniper Rifle and a shotgun are the same.
>>48643735>All Bioware needs to do is bring the armor customization over to teammates and weapons, and then add more optionsThey also need to add a weapon-modding station on the Normandy. Having 2 or 3 types of each weapon class will be a lot more acceptable if you can mod the shit out of them.
>>48643216>has no clue how to manage an inventory or simply NOT pick things up.Fuck I hate kids these days.
>>48645919Uh...i know. Hence why i said they're very restricted and shallow. They can't really do much. Only guy that feels like he makes an impact is Grunt because his Krogan upgrades are just fucking insane. he's got like 700 health i think at the moment while everyone else is in the low 300s.
>>48645897>Implying there are women on the internet.
>>48645617So the plan of action was just to scrap them all-together in order to appeal to a wider audience?
>>48645998>implying not picking things up is somehow beneficial in an RPG that lets you sell thingsconfirmed for retard
>>48645998Loot is fucking everywhere in ME1.And managing inventory translates to 'GO TO SHOP AND SELL' pr 'MAKE OMNI GEL EVERY HALF AN HOUR'.Yeah. Fantastic.
>>48642481The only thing I like more about ME1 is the planet exploration. Sure, the Mako had some issues but at least a few of the planets were interesting enough to warrant landing on them. I've yet to land on an a planet in ME2 that is in any way fun. Hell, most of the missions last about 3 minutes and have fuckall to do with anything else going on in the story. At least ME1 had that set of missions with Admiral Kohoku(sp?) that had to do with Cerberus and shit. Those were pretty interesting along with the planet with the Biotic Cult.
>>48643216They could be turned into omni gel and then be used for hacking when your skill was high enough. Which reminds me.Now anyone can hack, it's just a simple minigame. You don't need a hacking trait, and you don't need an electronics trait to hack ai. It just didn't feel like an RPG this time around other than the dialogue. Still an awesome action game though.
>>48646092I was jking
>>48645998Did you even play ME1 ? You got equipment after every fucking gunfight. Whether you wanted it or not.
>>48645998>implying you could choose not to receive loot in ME1You were either putting it in your inventory to sell later (or 1 in 1000 pieces actually got used), or converting it to omni-gel. One clogs your inventory with useless shit until you take a bunch of time to sell each piece one by one, and one forces you to select each piece one by one to reduce to omni-gel at some point. They were both tedious as fuck. Shut up, you obviously didn't even play the game. You CANNOT just choose to do neither of these things.
>>48646123Welcome to RPGs? ME2 is barely an RPG. Heck might as well call Army of Two an RPG because of it's weapon customisation and moral choices.
>>48646118>implying you need to sell things once you're at 9999999999999999999999 credits.Kids...
>>48646111They scrap the ones that HINDER the game. What matters is that the game plays well.If it's not so much a WRPG anymore, who cares? It's Mass Effect and it plays much better and feels much smoother, I do not care what you classify it.
>>48646207>implying you couldn't omnigel 10 items in 5 seconds.
>>48646129Yeah people complained about how every base looked the same. Okay. Now every environment is the same. Every single planet you land on that isn't a part of the main questline is the same rocky canyon vegetated bullshit.
>>48646268No, it is not.
>>48646265If there was a single useful item, the list of items would randomly rearrange itself after you reduced shit to omni-gel. That shit got old really fast.
>>48646304Yes, yes it is.
>>48646118>>48646123>>48646164>>48646207Lazy faggots who baw at the thought of having to press more buttons to clean out their inventory.
>>48646304Yes, they are. Are you fucking blind?
>>48646253That hinder the game? You realise stats like decryption etc are what make it an RPG? Shit like that has been in RPG since Baldurs gate as lockpicking and Kotor. Everything RPG related was scrapped for ME2, it's not an RPG anymore. Missions are linear as well. Each mission becomes an instance with no branching paths. Its as linear as FF13. At least the exploration isn't linear and just the missions.
The motto for Mass Effect 2 is, if you can't do it right, get rid of it. Instead of improving the planet exploration, weapons, armor, customization and all the other rpg elements, they just got rid of it in favor more more gears of war style gameplay.
>>48646268I only remember canyon with vegetation, desert wreckage, swamp with beacons, and derelict ship teetering off the edge of a cliff.
>>48646443I can't say i'm disappointed. I fucking love TPS games. But i also fucking love RPGs...and this isn't an RPG.
ME1 was better overall. ME2 is a 3rd person shooter with too much dialog. They took damn near all of the RPG out of my RPG.
>>48646373>Boy, I sure do love clunky and tedious shit in my games, no fun should ever be happening, give me more spreadsheets and worthless extra bullshit! Action? Dialog? GAMEPLAY? Who the fuck wants to ACTUALLY PLAY A GAME? You guys are fucking lazy fags, you should be asking for MORE spreadsheets and inventory management!
>>48646472Palm trees on extrasolar planets.
>>48646517NUH UH NUH UH 96/100 ITS THE BEST GAME EVER MADE WHO CARES IF THE FANS DONT LIKE IT THE MAINSTREAM DOES BEST GAEM EVAH xD
>>48646492It's just as much of an RPG as Deus Ex or System Shock was. You fucking people will bitch about anything.
>>48646440So it is not an RPG.It's still a better game and feels nicer to play then ME1.There are levels, abilities, equipment customization, dialogue trees.Raising my electronics constantly just to decrypt a shitty sattelite somewhere may make it an RPG, but does not means it's actually GOOD.
I don't have much of a problem with ME2's skill atleast not with Shepard's I wish squadmates had more than three powers.Like Jack she's supposed to be the best biotic in the Galaxy and she has two biotic ability's.
>>48646517Yeah, I too prefered STATS STATS STATS STATS and fucking boring gunfights.
>>48646530>Boy I sure do love not having to work at all for anything...gee willakers it sure is great being a lazy casual faggot..herp-a-derp let's go play Heavy Rain.
>>48646572Garden worlds are typically where people end up.
>>48646517Do you actually care how the game plays out, or for shitty traits?Mass Effect has lots of dialogue and shooting shit, in it's core.If they improve teh shooting and fix the pace by scrapping (un)important RPG traits, all the better.Who cares.
>>48646655Mass Effect 2 Combat is actually CHALLENGING compared to ME1.So, no.
>>48646638>implying ME 2 doesn't have the exact same gun fights.RUNNAN SHOOTAN ROMANCAN DYAN
>>48646655Heavy Rain is fucking stupid. And way to fall back on that same shit argument, that it's lazy to not want a bunch of clunky retarded shit that distracts from PLAYING the game. You know games are supposed to have GAMEPLAY, right? The inventory system is shit in ME1. I love ME1, but anyone who defends that inventory system and thinks it's fun has to be the most boring motherfucker on the planet.
>>48646692Palm trees. Did Humans seed the planets with these in the 40+ years that they've been exploring space?
>>48646775Negative.
I got bored of ME2. I'm 20hours into it and i still have 2 more loyalty missions to go before i get that Geth robot, Legion is it? Gameplay just gets stale after a while. You have to beat a mission to level up, and levelling up serves little purpose after a certain point anyway. Max out 2-3 moves and spam them. Hooray. That's fun and all but where's my RPG?I remember finishing ME1 in only 12hours by doing no sidequests, hit level 33. Fighting Saren just felt so awesome, have my pimped out Ashley rape his face is satisfying. You just don't get that satisfaction from ME2. Oh boy new schematics, better upgra- MINE...MINE...MINE, oh man i have enough minerals better get so-MINE...MINE...MINE. Worst. Minigame. Ever.
The Illusive Man has the entire ship bugged, so there's a pretty good chance he watched Tali and I bumpin' uglies right?
>>48646775>Implying it didn't take you 3 hours to beat Benezia
>>48646790Not to go off topic or anything but what is wrong with Heavy Rain? I mean everyone here is throwing a shitstorm about it.Xbox360fag btw.
>>48646800Why wouldn't they? If you're going to colonize a planet that you can make into a virtual paradise (by human standards), fucking go for it.
>>48646790I never said it was perfect but the fact that people make it one of the main reasons to bitch about ME1 just shows how fucking lazy and whiney they are.Lazy kids.
>>48646775>ME2>challengingDunno bout you. But having Warp Ammo or Barrier literally broke the game on Insanity mode. I don't remember any game breaking combinations in ME1. Unless you know you started new game plus with your level 50 character on hardcore, which is what a casual would have done.
>>48646800>they look vaguely like palm trees so they must be palm trees identical to the ones we have on earth
>>48646655>>playing a game to ''work'' >>being a total double faggot
>>48646867It's a movie pretending to be a game. It's just a bunch of quicktime events and cutscenes.I own a PS3 and I will never buy that "game".
>>48646867It's Reaction Images and QTEs: The gamePersonally i'm dying to play it.
I'M COMMANDER SHEPARD AND THIS IS MY FAVOURITE STORE ON THE CITADEL.
>>48646929>having the game played for yousure is casual faggots in here
>>48646927>I don't remember any game breaking combinations in ME1Immunity
>>48646927Your goddamn right I did
>>48646725:(A true RPG fan wouldn't say that. Those traits is what made KotoR so fucking awesome. It was a star wars RPG. ME2 is what KotoR would have been if it played like Force Unleashed and had shit tonnes of dialogue. It's not an RPG.
>>48647034FFFFF casuals.
>>48646927>Warp Ammo>Barrier>not uselessSomething tells me you weren't playing on Insanity.
>>48647033Korgans > Immunitylolyup
>>486469273 Sets of Shields and Weapon that cannot overheat regardless of Class made it fucking EASY. ME2 is harder then ME1 no matter what.>>48646887If it's bad, it's bad. You did not gain something significant from a cluttered inventory with the same loot over and over. Managing did not have a significant effect to say 'my investment pays off, it's well organized'.There is laziness, and then there is 'what is the fucking point'.
>>48646928They are totally palm trees dude. I just expected the environments to be more inspired. Isn't something called alien because it's.....ALIEN?
too bad most abilities in me1 were pointless since they were all on like 45 second cooldowns
>>48647094I did...why what did you do to beat Insanity? Incinerate and Cryo spam?
>>48643587That was worse. A quick loading screen is far less annoying than a lengthy elevator ride that took just as long on a fast system as it did on a slow one.
>>48647100Wrong. I had an Infiltrator at level 60 with maxed Immunity on Insanity, the highest level Krogans would use Immunity and I could just run up and beat the shit out of them. Your Immunity > Krogan Immunity.
>>48642481Too bad you're only better then a solider and a sentinel and no one wants to be a sentinal. Every other character is better then you.>>48643302That and Savant X. WHICH I CAN"T FUCKING FIND ANYWHERE.
>>48647150I guess I'm the only one here who values uninterrupted gameplays. Loading screens are far to unnatural.
>>48647129Defensive abilities had huge cooldowns so the game wouldn't be too easy. Offensive actions like Marksmen i would use as much as two to three times in a battle. They cooled down rather fast.
>>48647064Kotor is NOT good because of those elements solely.Kotor 1 battles and inventory that were RPG like worked well, and they were carried over in 2.In ME1, they DID NOT, thus they were not carried over.I like RPGS and it's trais when they are GOOD and are implemented well.Keeping them solely for an RPG label is retarded.
>>48647115I guess. I honestly don't even remember palm tree planet, because the desert wreckage/geth environmental machine place/fog maze with shit jumping at you stood out way, way more in my mind.
>>48647140Bullshit you did. Warp Ammo is shit tier and all the Barrier-type abilities barely affect how fast your shields go down. On top of that they have ridiculously long recharge times so it's better to just use your class's special ability in a pinch anyway.
>>48647215But the gameplay IS interrupted.May as well show a LOADING screen with 3 people standing there.
>>48647094>implying warp ammo is useless against the collectors, husks, and harbingers.
>>48643587The loading screens get to me. I've clocked 30hours on ME2 yet i feel like ive achieved nothing compared to what i did in my 15hours ME1 playthrough.
>>48647212Beat Pinnacle Station and get Savant X's for 220000 Credits at your pimp palace.
>>48647237There were several generic palm tree/ jungle planets but I agree with you on those points. What is this desert planet you speak of?
So. Did anyone else plan on romancing Jack or Miranda? But when you told Tali you weren't interested, and she said "Ha ha, of course not! Why would you be?" in that super cheerful I'm-hiding-the-fact-that-I-wish-I-were-dead-at-this-second voice, you reloaded and went with her instead, just because you felt like a piece of shit? Yeah. I did.
>>48647292>implying you need special ammo for the shit tier enemies
>>48646831>Quarian reaction to sex with Humans interesting. Will send team to investigate further. Having gotten some ass, Shepard will now be focused on the mission.
>>48647276>ridiculously long recharge time>ME2Are you talking about ME1 or 2? As soon as my barrier was shot out i could put a new one instantly.
I don't know about you guys, but when I buy a Bioware game I'm looking forward to a great rpg, not a watered down shooter.ME2 was still fun though.
>>48647292Don't listen to him. He's clearly from the idiot mainstream demographic brought over by marketing this as a bald space marine shooter.
>>48646927High Explosive Rounds on a Spectre X Sniper Rifle - enjoy killing everything but the bigger Geths and Saren in one shot.Frictionless Materials x2 and Kinetic Coil on an Assault Rifle - enjoy your chain gun that never overheats.Pistols - yeah...just pistols.
>>48647283It is interrupted but what is the point of having a loading screen then? Atleast it helps keep some sense of atmosphere and flow in the game.
Having play ME1 and then ME2 for the first time in about the span of two weeks thanks to /v/ posting the threads everywhere...I have to say ME has MUCH better combat and MUCH better writing and much better well, everything. It feels more correct.Yeah some of the customization is missing a bit more, but most of that stuff was annoying as hell in 1. Hopefully a happy medium will be made in 3.But yeah, ME2 is absolutely awesome.
