Disc Swapping isn't a problem. It's a total of 45 seconds of the 40 or so hours of gameplay.

The uncompressed video/audio is an advantage the ps3 has.

Also, Switching disks ruined my experience of FFVIII. I got though the first 2 disks, and the 3rd was fucked up, so I couldn't finish the game, and by the time I bought it on PSN, it just wasn't the same.
