Also grabing him after death is not the only way, you can use camo to hide from him and he will look for you.

He will lurk around saying "Where has he gone? THERE YOU ARE!" you can easily grab him then.

When I think about it, all those manly tears and nostalgia about Liquid Ocelot is dumb considering that Liquid Ocelot is just a butchered and broken version of Liquid Snake. But hell, it's still awesome.

The theme of the game is that war has changed, but ultimately it would be the old ways of war that save the world from itself - heroes like Snake, Meryl, Raiden, etc. changed to adapt to the new ways of war, but when the "clean" new system fell apart, they were the only ones who knew how to still fight and win. Johnny was a walking example in MGS4 - he sucked because he didn't adapt using nanomachines to boost his combat effectiveness, but when those adaptations failed everyone else, he was the one who was always able to keep going because he wasn't affected by the failures of technology, having been trained as a genome soldier before.

Or I could be completely wrong. Who knows?

MGS4 has a lot of themes. Like any other MGS does.

But every MGS had this one main theme.

MGS1 - Gene
MGS2 - Meme
MGS3 - Scene
MGS4 - Sense

War has changed is actually a reference to the gaming industry, how mediocre and boring vidya got.
This is one of the reasons why MGS4 become more "mainstream"-ish, even if this is the wrong word for it since it's still a very MGS like game.

As for MGO, it's ass because headshots are still a one-hit kill, so you basically have a ton of people running around using either M4s to spray at your face or CQC so they can knock you out and shoot you in the face. Also, the expansions are practically required to get into any populated games for reward points, so you can expect to drop a fair bit of cash just to get up to speed in what is a really, really bad generic third-person shooter in this case.

Costumes and stuff. Gear, characters, hats, stuff like that. Expansions were still $20 total last I checked, though it might have gone down since then.

Still, I think MGO is just bad. The stealth gametypes aren't that great IMO, and everything else turns into a spawncamping CQC/M4 wankfest real quick.

Not to mention the userbase is the worst one this side of Modern Warfare 2. One guy camped our spawn for 10 minutes straight with a G3, and only I made any effort to flush him out. At the end of the game, he sends us all a message: "RAPED YOU NIGGERS." This is only one of many poor experiences I've had on MGO.
