I don't think you'd have to upgrade your power-supply, since it's a 90W CPU, but you could unlock it to a quad if you've got the right motherboard and a bit of luck.
I use a Zalman 9700 for CPU cooler, but these chips aren't really hot, so you could keep the stock heatsink with no problems.
I even overclocked with the stock heatsink, with no major differences in temperatures.

I don't get why people still feel the need to spend a significant amount of money on a computer if all they're going to do is play video games on it. I just spent (literally, I just tabbed out of newegg) 250 dollars upgrading my PC because after 3 and a half years, it finally stopped playing every game I could ever ask it to play. 3 and a half years from now, I plan to spend roughly the same amount of money to upgrade my computer again, so I guess it's about the same (maybe a tad better) than buying a console every generation.

Even after my upgrade, I will never be able to run Crysis on maximum, but I don't get the people who would shell out an extra 500 dollars to do so. It's not like you're going to show your friends how many polygons you have while playing, and not once have I been disappointed by a video game because it did not have as many pixels as I wanted.

tl;dr: I have a cheap PC because I am poor. I play my games on the lowest setting and am very happy with things as they are.

I built my own gaming computer very cheaply, i also purchase good games that come out on the pc, for example Rome Total war, DCS Black shark and Civilization 4.

But with so many threads stating that one console sucks, and this other console sucks, why can't we just realize that each of our consoles are shit in their own special way and accept them for what they are and what they do?
