If you are the equivalent of sewer rat shit in games like Counter Strike, or UT2k4, or Quake then you'll be top of the game in TF2

TF2 is easy as hell to get into. The best way to get used to it is to play as Medic, follow people, watch what they do and mimic it

Well, it might require slightly different thought process, as there's no straight up deathmatch mode (there's a mode that's a bit like counterstrike), just objective gametypes

When you're closing the gap or need to protect yourself as you run away, you have to fight long-range.

yes you shouldn't be a fucking sniper, but if someone is popping you with bullets and you're catching up the team/going for dispenser/ambushing/closing in on a target, you need to protect yourself and flamethrower does not help when they're pretty damn far away

TF2 is very fun, just stay away from the elitist. They plague every game, especially online games. I play the 2 fort 2 furious servers alot, sometimes there are a lot fo retards but you can always mute the unfunny people.
