I still thought they should have went with the marriage with Seymour and Yuna. Then have Yuna be a cuckold whore with Tidus. Thus Seymour goes to Yu Yevon to prove he's a better man than Tidus. Along the way he's the summoner that continues with Yu Yevon's traditional path with the Calm. So Seymour being the badass he is, kills Jecht and becomes Sin. Thus becoming all powerful and deadly.

/v/ hates seymour because FFX's main character is a faggot. All other characters are fags based on Tidus being one.

i'd say you're right. If FFIV wouldve come out today. But when it came out, in games and other media, that type of villain or way he was wasn't common.
