the biggest reason i don't use my mic is because of how stupidly awkward some of the conversations are.

someone says one thing, then there's silence for the next 5 minutes. if people are going to use mics, they should fucking talk more. and not about the fucking mission either. talk about random shit. have a damn conversation. maybe then i'll use my mic.

I hate using the Mic. I usually play l4d on my 360 (in before any reaction images or green text about it) and i get kicked so much for not having my mic plugged in. Sometimes I'll just plug it in and put it on my lap so I can't hear a damn thing they say. I dont get kicked when I do that.

Originally, I had been using a $25 USB Gigaware "wrap-around" style headset. They were very uncomfortable to wear, the playback sound quality sucked, but the mic on it was okay.

When I got my KOSS Portapros, I got the bright idea to use my headphones for sound and the headset for voice.

So now when I play games, I look like this.
