I always figured the reason the league is so far out of the way is because only the best make it there. Kind of like the ancient monastery on top of a mountain.

This,Pokemon really needs to delve more into the whole partner/rival thing. Give us some WRPG-ish choices that will allow us to make our rival into our greatest enemy or our greatest bro/sis/waifu. Or allow some NPCs in the game to become rivals,GSC SORT of had this with the PokeGear system,but it should go further by alowing the player to have them participate in tag battles and such.

I know it's sort of Eevee's thing, but I'd like to see more branching evolutions in Pokemon. You know, this Pokemon evolves into this depending on certain things. But none of this trading or stone crap, keep it different.

More instance, I've always had an ant Pokemon in mind, ever since I was a kid playing around with evolving my first Tyrogue.

It would start out as a little ant, then either have a "coccoon" form, or just skip right ahead and evolve. If it's a girl, it would turn into an ant queen right away. It it's a male, depending on its stats, it could evolve into a fire ant (Special stats being higher than regular ones), a soldier ant (Attack and Defense being higher than special stats), or a flying ant (yes these exist - and speed being higher than all the other stats). And ALL of these Pokemon would be good, so the females don't get screwed over like male Combees do - that was fucking stupid.

In fact, more DECENT bug and poison types in general is what I'd like to see. ... Also, a shark Pokemon that isn't a freaking swimming head would be appreciated.

And finally, don't evolve or pre-evolve anything from an older generation. 100+ totally brand new Pokemon is all I ask for. Fourth was filled with this kind of shit, seriously.

They get a whole page in a Pokemon's stat page, but ultimately, they're completely optional and if you don't like them, there's no point to them. People only believe it's the god/creator Pokemon. It's a LEGEND. Yeah, since the games aren't smart enough to think like this, it probably will be that, but still.

So anyway, maybe a future game could have Pokemon cultists, and the version mascots be different "creator" Pokemon. Like in Gen 3, the creator Pokemon would end up duking it out in an epic showdown (the mascot would be the winner), but like in Gen 2, the losing creator Pokemon could still be obtained later on. And fuck, maybe the Yellow/Crystal/Emerald/Platinum version of that gen could just have Arceus as the mascot, to say he IS the real creator, if they're so set on having him be it.

Alternatively, backtrack to regional legendaries. Gen 3's legendaries WERE kind of epic, but at the same time, they weren't global on the scale that TIME AND SPACE AND DIMENSIONS LOL from Gen 4 are. They can still have epic powers without being like... that.

For instance, make a legendary the mountain god. It rules the mountains, controls the land of the specific region, but to people outside of the region, and to those that don't believe in it, it's just another region's story.
