Did anyone else feel kind of sorry for the Estovakians during the last level? They had their country wiped out by meteors, civil wars, then a bunch of military guys took over and convinced them to invade another country when they kind of didn't want to.

They should make a Ace Combat game using dawn of the Jet age fighters. First generation subsonic jet craft like the Me 262, F-86 Saber, and MiG-15. Where guided missiles were in their infancy and jet fighters still relied on machine guns and cannons for kills.

Dogfights in Ace Combat games are already somewhat like WWII dogfights anyway.
