Actually,
it is treatable, but the success rate isn't high. I have
micro-exotropic strabismus, and had the procedure a few years ago. My
right eye still drifts sometimes when looking at things in the
distance, and before the operation my brain would automatically shut
off that eye when it happened, but I had no idea until I started
driving and couldn't gauge distances properly. Now, the eye still
drifts but I don't think the brain shuts off the eye anymore, and it
really fucks with my vision. |
