Main base with about 6 guys with guns, and on the other end about 6 hives which 2 players control, they can spawn both out the same hives and you can have six different aliens per game.

if you play as bugs, it's RTS, if you play as human, it's FPS. you can switch between human and bug before you join a game, there is different gear for your bug commander and genes and shit for your bugs. different weapons/armour/consumables for humans.

different types of bugs have a weak spot that you have to shoot to damage them, otherwise you can use certain aoe items like grenades or a grenade/toxin launcher. blah blah blah. it's pretty fun game, worth trying at least. i had an account but i couldn't run it properly on my laptop so i quit playing.

Shit sux, Devs are slow and it's takes forever to find a match. Half of the time it's a glitch abusing Bug player or a ultra-noob. rarely ever anything inbetween.

From what I've seen on Youtube the human players mostly survive through combination of backing up and circle strafing the enemy units, and counting on the fact that the RTS players seem to do nothing other than send straight lines of enemies at them in huge open areas. I'd like to see what would happen if a decent RTS player took over.

Well it's a bit of a problem when you send a continuous stream of aliens to the enemy base they all go in a perfectly straight line, which makes minigunning very easy.. but it serves as a pretty decent distraction..

When aliens send little groups of different enemies and micro well, it can be really difficult.
