Sorry bro, random nade kills are a big part of the game.

Typical pointers:

Stick with MP5 + Juggernaut till you get a handle of the game. What I mean by that is getting a feel for the movement patterns of players on specific maps, what places you need to be careful at, what places you can hide to ambush others.

Don't camp. At least, not for long periods at a time in one location. Move it up a lot or else you'll end up dying by someone who knows you're there.

Don't rush. Focus on completing matches by dying the least amount of times possible, not the most kills. This includes knowing when to run away or to hide behind an obstacle.

USE YOUR SECONDARY WEAPONS. This is such a huge thing that people tend to miss. See 5 people around the corner on your radar? Throw a flashbang and fuck shit up. Run out of ammo in the middle of a firefight? Don't fucking reload. Switch to pistol and try and kill your opponent instead of being a sitting duck.

Randomly throw grenades is the greatest tactic ever. Works incredibly well in clusterfucks such as wet work.

Use the grenade launcher. Its called the noob tube for a reason , the grenade instantkills on direct hit and has a large burst radius, yet does not need "cooking" like regular grenades.

So basically my victory will lie in my choice of weapons? Interesting.

Also, my friend played it on my account before I did, and got a few levels. He unlocked the ability to create a class, but since I have barely played it, I have no idea what the fuck Im doing with creating said class.

Once you're a bit more confident in your ability to stay alive, try out as many guns as possible and use the one that gives you the best results. Be sure to try out different setups on different maps. Also create classes to counter whatever other people have set up. Bloc for example is seen as a map for sniping. Make a stealth class and rape all those would-be snipers. Of course, you find out all these things from experience.

Don't skip past the kill-cam. Watch it to understand why you died. If you're dying in a straight-up firefight, you obviously need to work on your aim. If you're constantly getting suprised, you need to watch your surroundings more. etc etc etc.

no. this game sucks and halo is infinitely better in every way possible.

Start with the M16, can get it right off the bat with stopping power, rest of the perks is what you think is the most fun. Just learn the game a bit and the movement patterns, try not to die too much and learn to be fast with the knife and throwing grenades back.

Also, if you see this gun, pick it up. Overpowered piece of shit.
