not talking about 100% beating games, I just talking about beating
them, most of them are less than 10 hours, it only took me 12 to beat
fallout 3, 7 to beat RE5. It doesn't even sound like you're
even going outside of the straightest, most linear path to beating a
game, though. You're not venturing off the beaten path at all.>it

once again, that misunderstanding about achievements. It has absolutely
nothing to do with your gamerscore, or level, or whatever Steam uses.
It has everything to do with adding objectives to the game you wouldn't
have even looked at otherwise. Would you have picked up the umbrella in
Dead Rising if it wasn't tied to an achievement? Or rolled the bowling
ball rather than cave in a zombie's head with it? It's all about adding
secondary objectives to the game. It sounds to me like it's less about fun to you and more about seeing the ending.
