Fucking love it. It's weird. I find myself enjoying the characters I had no interest in before the game was out rather than the ones I wanted to play. Hakumen is awesome and I really enjoy playing him, and I've actually gotten pretty good with him. And then there's Arakune. Before the game was out I thought he was stupid as fuck, but then I read his backstory and it was awesome, and to push things further with that I got absolutely destroyed by one that knew what they were doing.

Getting absolutely killed never felt so good.

I'm still not exactly sure what Carl has going for him. No projectiles, lowest health in the game, and sure, its easy to chain together ridiculous combos with Nirvana when you get the enemy in between you and her, but you have to work ridiculously hard to do so, when one single hit from your opponent will stop her dead in her tracks.

I seriously didn't know about Bang's FRKZ super, and the first time I did it I was laughing too hard to play properly. SInce then i've learned to control him, he's pretty awesome.

Taokaka I really want to get better with, since she seems to play a lot like my old favorite from GG (Millia Rage). I've self-taught myself some strings but I think its a must to look up her combos, because the best I can do without them is roughly ten hits. It took me forever to get the hang of chaining 6b > 236b+b, but its awesome.

Shitsux. I wanted to play Jin because he appealed to me most when it came to looks and story. However, he's terribly boring and easy to play.

To top it off, if I do play him and win, which I was, I get labeled a Jin scrub. To make matters worse, everyone and their mother is picking Jin which makes me even less inclined to pick him.

Anyways, I miss Guilty Gear. BlazBlue's character designs are shit compared to Guilty Gear. I can't find a single character to main in this game because not a god damn one appeals to me.

In Mori's defense, he likes RPGs more than Fighting Games, so he enjoys slow paced, gradual games, as a result his stuff isn't as all over the place as Daisuke's. As you can clearly see there is definitely a more "fantasy" feel to BB as opposed to there being a Sci-Fi feel to GG. And you get my point by now right? Mori turned something of the likes of FF into a fighting game basically, so the character designs are simple enough to work with, and the plot and such are just the same, things will build up (just like in an RPG) when everything and everyone gets together to face the Big Bad, with Daisuke's Guilty Gear shit happened before the game, and we were thrown smack dab in the middle of the events, so shit started happening almost immediately.

Do so. Keep in mind that you can enjoy the story mode and other single player content pretty easily as a newbie and can have a lot of fun with friends at a casual level but you're going to just get destroyed online until you've built up experience.
