In
Mori's defense, he likes RPGs more than Fighting Games, so he enjoys
slow paced, gradual games, as a result his stuff isn't as all over the
place as Daisuke's. As you can clearly see there is definitely a more
"fantasy" feel to BB as opposed to there being a Sci-Fi feel to GG. And
you get my point by now right? Mori turned something of the likes of FF
into a fighting game basically, so the character designs are simple
enough to work with, and the plot and such are just the same, things
will build up (just like in an RPG) when everything and everyone gets
together to face the Big Bad, with Daisuke's Guilty Gear shit happened
before the game, and we were thrown smack dab in the middle of the
events, so shit started happening almost immediately.
BB : RPG turned Fighting Game GG: Sci-Fi epic turned Fighting Game.
It's
like comparing the Matrix and Tales of Phantasia, they have two
different pacings and character concepts to work with, and that's why
you love one more than the other, but that doesn't mean you have to
dislike the other immediately, give it time, and if you don't like what
you see just move away from the series, no need to bash Toshimichi for
expressing himself, it's his first game. |
