    Is this ACTUALLY just cave story?

    The screens look identical.

    The characters look identical.

    The atmosphere looks identical.

    It's a different game that looks and plays like cave story (but also has meelee)
    It's aimed for cave story fans, if you liked cave story you're going to like this one as well (theoretically)

    People get too dramatic about it, it's a game, just chill and play it if you enjoy it
