fundamentally, if you had to choose, I think you're a fucking moron if
you're going to ignore all standards of meaningful progression in a
medium and almost arbitrarily prefer the old ways, which are shallow at
their core.
Tetris and Pacman for instance. People have huge
hard-ons for these and become addicted. To what fucking end? I have
never enjoyed these games for more than 10 minutes. They offer you
fucking nothing. For some, you may get a little bit of a "high", so to
speak, but when that fades you are left with nothing. |
