than monitors. Mostly in terms of refresh rates, or framerate.
Most old CRT TV's display around 30 Hz/FPS.
A
low-end CRT monitor does 60 standard, decent will do 80, the best do
120. Though the 120 Hz monitors are usually only used by junkies and
competitive FPS players in games like Counter-Strike and Quake 3.
Keep
in mind, I only mentioned CRT's, I'm not all up to speed on what modern
LCD's do, but I do know that only a few months ago were LCD monitors
released that could do 120Hz. |
