when i built my rig (november 2008) i just put vista on it.

when windows 7 releases im most likely going to update it.

honeslty though, if you have 4gb of ram or more, vista is fine

Vista is fine, and people saying otherwise are either retarded or haven't actually used it since a week after it came out.

Still, Windows 7 is the king of OSs, and I'd recommend getting the RC.
