don't really need powerful single target spells because Shiva, Ifrit
and Ramuh kill most enemy targets anyway and charge so quickly it
hardly even matters before you get to level 85+. Or you could just use
Golem and effectively nullify the majority of you enemies' attacks.
I'll
grant you that Faith is massively hampering at times and that towards
the end of the game, the charge times of most spells become so absurdly
long they're just not worth using any more, though. Meteor, the level
four spells and most high-level summons in particular always struck me
as spells that you don't really use because they're effective, but
rather just because you can and because it looks cool. |
