 What was awesome with the Dreamcast is the variety in multiplayer game.
It
was "multiplayer" in the "arcade" sense, not in the "casual" one. It
had a shitton of 2D fighting games, quite a few 3D ones, and 4-players
GOOD games. Nowadays, if you want a 4-player game on console, it's
either with retarded party games or generic fps/sports game.
The
dreamcast was a magic console, but it failed because people are dumb
and wouldn't give Sega a second chance after the Saturn. Also Sakura Wars 3 coming out too late. And, well, bad marketing, but that's a given. |
