Wow, Famitsu has less than 3,000 readers.

    Why should we care?

This is a damn fine list. I would love more VC, another Shenmue, and more Rival Schools. Capcom has been on a roll lately so we might just get another rival schools.

I remember Infinite Undiscovery getting more votes than Demon's Soul.

Please, I love Mega Man X, but the series is dead. There hasn't been a commendable X game for two console generations; just an acceptable RPG spin-off on the PS2.
The tattered remnants of the story they probably didn't even intend to put there in the first place have seen enough torment.

    It wants to die.

No one on /v/ has played a Sakura Taisen, or they'd realize it's the greatest strategy series of all time.

I own the PS2 remake of the original. I agree that it has one of the best tactical combat systems I've ever played, but that doesn't excuse the other 70% of the game when you're in the theater. The fact that you can only save at the start of a chapter and just before battles makes it incredibly frustrating if you accidentally mess up something with the girls. It wouldn't be such an issue if it weren't so important to have all of them in top mental state.

Fuck Axl, fuck the new villain, and fuck Copy Chips.

The bosses were forgettable, the storyline remains stunted and fragmented without Inafune, and even Sigma is a tacked-on nonsensical shadow of his former self.
Is any of this canon anymore? Is there even a canon to begin with?

If they make Mega Man X9 it will continue to ignore and bastardize the storyline, it won't star Sigma, and it will star Axl.

And yes, I play Mega Man X for the story. I know. Ik know.
    >> Anonymous 05/06/09(Wed)01:56 No.30793241
    lol, MOTHER

if they want a new one so bad they should make it themselves. itoi said he's not going to do another one.
