    Riddle me this, /v/.

Yahtzee said that he really liked Psychonauts, but in his latest review, he made it sound like Siren Blood Curse was the first game he'd ever played which let you use a special power to see through the eyes of your enemy. What's up with that?

He's a talentless hack who has no idea what he's talking about. A poor mans Charlie Brooker.

While we're now on the subject, how is The Dawn Of The Dumb? I saw it in WHSmith for £9.99 today and was tempted to pick it up.

yahtzee is a dumass. mabie his videos would be the leaste bit intersting if they were actualy able to load the whole way and not stop halfway and make you have to reload the page

Because he probably hasnt played Psychonauts and just said he did to score points with the indie crowd.

Yeah he has obviously never read a book in his life and has no game references to games made in the 80's that weren't on his NES.

Yahtzee doesn't actually play many video games at all, as you can begin to tell when he makes repeated incorrect comparisons or analogies to games he has "played in the past".

Although admittedly, Clairvoyance wasn't much more than a gimmick and I personally only used it when I needed to to proceed with the game. So I could see how he would forget.

ITT: fanboys take revenge on Yahtzee for making fun of their favorite games obvious flaws

I read all these posts in Raz's voice, except for
    >>30592052
which I read in Ford Cruller's voice.

I think /v/ reads into Yahtzees reviews too much, they shouldn't be taken at face value considering that most the content on the escapist is meant to be comedy, and Yahtzees reviews are quite funny sometimes as well, I don't think he's being completely serious when he writes/speaks his reviews. I've never played Siren, but the power in that game sounds different from the clairvoyance in Psychonauts....it was only used a couple of times, and the sequences were scripted.
    >> Anonymous 04/29/09(Wed)17:08 No.30592386
While Yahtzee is a pretty bad reviewer, Psychonauts did extremely rarely use that ability.

You rarely HAD to, but admit it, it was fun seeing how all the other characters see you.

Sasha sees Raz as a tiny version of himself. D'AWWWWW.
