Odin Sphere is a great game, but alchemy and cooking are where like half the gameplay is at, which is pretty jarring, especially if you're not into that.
I love that fucking game, but i wouldn't be sad at all to see the sequel be more action oriented.

I would have finished Odin Sphere. Really, I would have. But I got to the Dark Knight's story and was like, "Fuck. I am not playing the same levels and bosses, AGAIN."

And the areas are MUCh bigger, and not just ring-shaped stages that connect to each other. You have a real world map to travel.

aw man bro, Mercedes is my favorite so far. The wizard fucker is awful though, i agree. What i did was Ice spirts potion-> the psypher skill that doubles attack power. When his mini boss adds jump on you, they freeze, and you can all but kill them. They won't respawn. Then just float around with a full clip, when he makes the swords, shoot them back at him. He's stunned for a bit and you can unload a full round at him. He's got really low HP too. not easy for sure though.
