Battle Fantasia isn't well-known at all.

I'm a fighting game enthusiast and I wouldn't even have heard of it if it wasn't for my vested interest of all things Arc System Works

I didn't even know this game was out on the PS3

I see the 360 box constantly at Gamestop, and the boxart always makes me want it. But I'm a little smarter than that, and tell myself that I'll look up some more info on it when I get home.

It's really fun. It fights fast like Guilty Gear, just not all over the place because it's in 3D/2D like Street Fighter IV.

Your character can consume one full bar of power to go into "Heat" mode. When in heat mode, your character's attack strength gets boosted and you gain additional powers for a few seconds. Like Urs gets additional hits in some combos. Olivia has birds fly around her to add in hits and stuff, and Marco gets this flying dragon.

Haha. I feel the same way. SFIV is losing it's touch so I'm back to GG and Alpha 3. Blazblue machine is like 2 hours away and the pro always lurks it so there's no sense going most of the time.

I've played this game before in AnimeUSA 2008. However I'm not that good at such games sadly.

I played the demo and besides the sorta stiff controls it was fine. I played 2 player a lot of times and the damage was pretty fair nothing outrageous even though they have a few cool attack combinations and the visuals are very nice.

Home version has infinits iirc but its not a bad game, but in comparison to...street fighter 4 its not the best one out there.

This is nothing amazing. The story is nothing amazing. It is a fine fighter and for the most part solid.

If it had some advertisement even a little, it may have sold 4 times the alleged amount but I highly doubt there is a fanbase clamoring over this. At least it has online so... I assume it sold at all due to word of mouth or very little interest on the cover art

Played the demo on PS3 is quite cool

I bought this shit on the week of release, because I am a retard and will buy any fighting game.

Turns out, however, it's a pretty damn solid little fighter with a diverse cast. It's simple, has a little parry system and plays overall a tiny bit like SF3. The whole RPG aesthetic is nice, from story to art and even the fact that you have an HP: XXXX counter under your life gauge.
