I rarely play on Live but the times I have are generally pleasant. Worst experience I ever had was in on game where some guy kept being a douche and closing the safe room on us, but that's it.

Live can be pretty bad. There are some bad streaks as well as good streaks. I've met some awesome players on wow whom i have loads of fun playing with and i've met some of the most annoying, racist, homophobic, ignorant, immature assholes on it as well. More kids on live then pc but not as bad as people make it out to be, no matter how much i complain about live

Never played L4D on live, but COD4 is just horrible

I only play with friends on Xbox and we are always in a party.
However my friend has met a few people playing random games on the Xbox, so It's not too bad. The reason is that there is so many people with a mic the number of retards you run into goes up loads. Plus minors are much more likely to have a game on the console than PC =(

The only bad Live experience I had was when my team got to the Survivors phase, and two of them promptly ran out of the safe room, down the hallway and jumped off a cliff. They told me and the other guy to as well because they wanted to play as the Infected again.

Me and the other guy actually made it to the Safe House, but only because the other team had only two Humans.

Team Fortress 2's community was surprisingly amazing on Xbox 360. I haven't played it since last year what with me getting the PC Orange Box and selling the 360 version, but during that time, there were no children ever on the game whatsoever. From what little of Left 4 Dead on 360 I've played at a friend's, I was shocked to find the complete opposite. I always thought Valve games would never reach the Halo/CoD crowd. Oh well. Glad I didn't get that one, anyway.

Yep, I too can vouch for the Xbox's TF2 community. Great bunch of guys and girls. I've been following the Scout update and listening to everyone bitch and whine and complain at Valve, and while rampaging over Dustbowl the other day, all I heard was "Hey, Scouts got an update on the PC. That'll be cool when we get it." and that's it.

I haven't really had any bad experiences with L4D either. Certainly L4D players are more... vocal, but so long as you stay away from Versus mode, you'll cut out most of them. You'll find dickheads in every game you play, regardless of console, game, nationality
