Actually TF2 has a generally better community than most at the moment. Of course thats not true on certain servers (4chan) but on the more populated ones dicks are few and far between.

Entire concept of TF2 is TF without the fortress, Entire balancing of the game is based off push maps (thats why demoman keeps getting nerfed)

The spy isn't useless at all.
This game isn't meant to be a gritty deathmatch shooter, It's called TEAM fortress for a reason. Also, the reason the demoman keeps getting nerfed is because he was overpowered, and he has 2 primaries.
Go back to your Hardcore/casual delusions. Good games are easy to pick up but hard to master, and this is certainly one of those games.
