    Gamefan was also my introduction to animu.

    Despite how messy the reviews/previews seemed to be with them, I loved the metric fuckton of screen shots they'd post.

    Just let everyone know, Nintendo Power sucked dick. Xbox Magazine was not very good either. PSN was decent and I enjoyed reading it even though I didn't own a PS2 until the end of that era of consoles.

    I liked the magazine and the staff, but let's be honest. If you bought this magazine, it was because of the kickass demo disc that came with every issue since the very beginning. Sony has sided with a different publisher to carry their "official" brand, but it won't be the same without a demo disc. RIP OPM.
